Canine Physiotherapy Course, 28 September - 1 October 2007

Helen Nicholson and dogHelen Nicholson became serious about Animal Physiotherapy in 1999. She completed several courses by Narelle Stubbs, Amanda Sutton, Laurie Edge-Hughes and the American Physical Therapy Association before becoming a Peer Tutor as part of the first class to graduate from the Master of Animal Studies (Animal Physiotherapy) program at the University of Queensland in 2004.

Helen runs Animal Physiotherapy Services, rotating between 8 Veterinary Hospitals in the Sydney region, as well as studying respiratory physiotherapy as the first Small Animal Physiotherapy PhD student in Australia.

Helen has lectured on a variety of Animal Physiotherapy topics in at least 6 Australian cities, as well as in Italy and was recently invited to contribute to a textbook on Veterinary Physiotherapy.

Species treated include dogs, cats, horses, bats, a kangaroo, a blue tongue lizard and more.

She is delighted by the opportunity to come to Britain and looks forward to meeting you.
