I joined ACPAT in 1991 and upgraded to Category A status 2 years later. Horses have been a life time passion and I have been lucky enough to own horses that competed successfully at national level.
I served on the ACPAT Committee for 6 years and was Vice Chair for the last two years. I stepped down at the end of my term of office in April 2009. For several years I have been involved with Clinical Education at the Royal Veterinary College, instructing students to gain practical experience in the assessment and treatment of equines.
My ambition to open an Equine Rehabilitation Centre is about to be realized, offering first class facilities in association with Veterinary Surgeons. The Centre is equipped with a new
Excellent stabling, horse walker, exercise pen and flood-lit manege are also on site.
My human practice provides treatments for the Rider!
We hope to run various courses for young people wishing to know more about this interesting and exciting career, CPD courses for ACPAT Category A and B members, and Veterinary Surgeons.
